Cleans All Coffee and Espresso Maker Parts – Stainless Steel Cleaner
Coffee pot not brewing coffee? This is a common problem that can be fixed by descaling your machine. Descaling is the process of removing built-up mineral deposits from your coffee maker. Over time, these deposits can cause problems such as clogged nozzles, grinder jams, and reduced coffee flavor. Most people will recommend using white vinegar to descale your machine but is this the best way?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”padding-1-percent” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_link_target=”_self” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column_text]
Clean the Grinder
Your coffee maker’s grinder is another part of your machine that can get dirty and clogged with old coffee grounds. You may need to open up the top of your machine and clean it out from time to time, but if you do this after every few times you use the pot then this shouldn’t be a problem.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”padding-1-percent” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_link_target=”_self” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column_text]
Brew a Pot of Vinegar Solution
This is my favorite way to clean the machine! Fill the water compartment with equal parts of hot water and vinegar (about a half cup each). Then, run this solution through your coffee maker like you would if you were brewing a pot of coffee.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”padding-1-percent” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_link_target=”_self” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column_text]
Rinse Down with Water and Dump Out Any Remaining Drops of Vinegar Solution
Now it’s time to give your coffee maker a final rinse. Fill the water compartment with just plain old water and run it through two complete cycles. Once you’re finished, dump out any remaining drops of vinegar solution from the machine. After your final cycle is finished, run a couple more pots of water through just for good measure. This will ensure that all traces of vinegar are out of the machine!
There you have it, Cleaning Coffee Maker! Now that your coffee pot is clean and ready for use, make sure to take good care of it. These are just a few simple tricks that you can use to clean your coffee maker. If you follow this guide then it’s easy to keep yours looking great! Just stick to these steps and before long, your machine will be as good as new.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” overlay_strength=”0.3″ shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”padding-1-percent” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_link_target=”_self” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column_text]No! Descaling with vinegar can be difficult because it doesn’t always dissolve in water easily. It’s also very acidic which is why many coffee makers come with a built-in filter that is designed to catch the vinegar residue. Not only is this a pain to clean, but it’s also wasteful!
Instead of using white vinegar, try using Urnex Dezcal which is specifically designed for coffee and espresso makers. It’s safe to use on all parts of your machine including stainless steel and plastic. Decal easily dissolves in water so you don’t have to worry about clogged nozzles or other problems.
There are many descaling products on the market, but Urnex Dezcal is an excellent choice for keeping your machine clean and performing at its best!!
